Creating a new Dialer:
1. Double click on My Computer, then Dial-Up Networking, then Make New Connection.
2. It will ask you to type a name for the computer you are dialing - type “SURF MAXX”
then click on
3. Next.
4. It will ask you for
Area code - type “02”,
Telephone number - type “9180888” and
Country or region code - choose “Philippines (63)”.
5. Click on Next, then Finish.
Configuring the Dialer:
1. Double click on My Computer then Dial-up Networking.
2. Right click on the SURF MAXX icon then choose Properties.
3. Under General tab, uncheck Use area code and Dialing Properties.
4. Click on Server Types tab then uncheck Log on to Network. NetBEUI, and IPX/SPX
Compatible.
5. Click on TCP/IP Settings.
6. Check server assigned IP address and server assigned name server addresses.
7. Check Use IP header compression and Use default gateway on remote network.
8. Click on OK then click on OK again.
9. Right click on the SURF MAXX icon and click on Create Shortcut.
10. Click on Yes to place the shortcut on the desktop.
To Connect:
1. Type Username and Password
2. Click Dial.
